Jazz is producing high quality offspring with a lot of scope, brilliant elevation of the forehand, and spectacular movements. They are also uniform with more than sufficient possibilities to develop into an Olympic caliber competitor. Many foals have placed highly at the national tests and have sold at record prices in the U.S. and Europe.
Ancestry
Cocktail /pref, chestnut, 1.68m, born 1984. Cocktail's sire Purioso is the sport horse producer of the 90s as much for dressage as for jumping, with three 'Olympic' sons being Olympic Wendela, Olympic Ambush and Olympic Cocktail. Purioso is a son of the leading German stallion Furioso II. Furioso II, with at least 68 approved sons and 200 state premium mares, and a winning total from his progeny of around DM 3 million has influenced breeding world wide. The full brother of Furioso II is the French stallion Mexico, whose son Le Mexico is a familiar name as producer of sport horses, such as Olympic Pride, Olympic Briliant and Olympic Red Boy. The dam of Purioso is by the Holsteiner Martell, which was a son of the sport horse producer Trebonius xx.
Cocktail's dam Ulissa /keur, pref. (by Le Val Blanc xx) is also dam of the KWPN approved stallion Falco (by Pele). Further back in the pedigree we find the excellent moving Trakehner stallion Hessel. In the fourth generation we find the Holsteiner stallion Antonio (by Anblick xx). Anblck xx also sired the dominant breeding stallion Aldato and the Olympic horses of Josef Neckermann, Venetia and Antoinette.
Charmante /keur. Charmante is of the Fokfam 199 Breeding Line. Charmante is by Ulster who is displaying very good motion. Ulster is a decendant from the same breeding line as Nayade STV being the KWPN performance breeding family 236 that traces back to the foundation mare Hestia.
